Dear REEBA Members:
As you may already know, on Sunday the CT House passed a bill raiding RGGI and CEFIA and diverting these monies to the General Fund.
The proposed robbery is as follows:
$5,000,000 from RGGI for FY 2015
$6,200,000 from CEFIA for FY 2104
$24,200,000 from CEFIA for FY 2015
The bill now goes to the CT Senate for its review/approval. If this bill passes the legislature, it will devastate CEFIA’s ability to fund its renewable energy programs, especially the 30 MW residential solar program. Attached is the relevant portion of the bill.
