REEBA will promote the sustainable deployment of renewable energy, DSM and energy efficiency in the region, and provide its members with a unified voice for advocating for the removal of regulatory barriers and the establishment of legislative-based opportunities.
REEBA will be the region’s premier resource for renewable energy, DSM, and energy efficiency advocacy, collaboration, networking, and information sharing.
History & Purpose
The Renewable Energy & Efficiency Business Association (REEBA) is an active business organization with over 100 members and growing. REEBA, formed in 2010, as an initiative of Murtha Cullina attorney Paul Michaud, was created to serve as a venue to promote the unification and green voice of the clean energy industry.
REEBA’s membership includes developers of residential, commercial, industrial, institutional behind –the-meter and grid-side clean energy projects, energy services companies, demand response companies and an array of customer end-users of electricity, including municipalities, schools, and commercial and industrial companies interested in implementing clean energy technologies.
REEBA’s purpose is to:
- provide its members with current business, regulatory and legislative information that will enable the members to keep abreast of developments in the renewable energy and energy efficiency industries as they pertain to the deployment of renewable energy, demand-side-management, and energy efficiency sources, technologies and measures, and
- stimulate a positive business, regulatory, and legislative climate for renewable energy, demand-side-management, and energy efficiency businesses in Connecticut by influencing renewable energy, demand-side-management, and energy efficiency policy development, implementation and regulation at government agencies, boards, commissions, departments, authorities and other governmental organizations.
REEBA is a Section 501(c)(6) tax-exempt professional and trade organization.
